Where it's grown
Cocoa is grown in the Sambirano River Valley in Madagascar. Fresh cocoa beans are sourced from 8 organically certified smallholder farmers. In this region, cocoa trees thrive alongside other trees and fruit-bearing plants. Local farmers aim to care for the environment and the natural forest landscape, working with organizations like the Rainforest Alliance to plant trees, combat soil erosion, and contribute to natural forest restoration. This ensures not only high product quality but also sustainable production.

Trinitario - Trinitario varieties are grown by hybridizing Criollo and Forastero cocoa types, combining Criollo's quality with Forastero's resistance to diseases.

How to prepare cocoa (for one cup):
- Cocoa 10 - 35 g
- 40 ml hot water
- 80 ml plant-based milk
- Sweetener of choice (optional)
