Baked apricots with cocoa nibs

Are you wondering what to do with cocoa nibs? We suggest trying baked apricots flavored with cocoa beans. This snack delicately combines the natural flavor of cocoa, soft ricotta and fresh apricots.

A special, interesting and unmistakable combination in a simple recipe!

You will need:
● 1 tablespoon cocoa nibs
● 5 pcs. apricots
● 1/2 orange
● 2 teaspoons powdered sugar
● 50 g ricotta cheese
● a few slices of your favorite white bread
● for decoration: mint (optional)

We often think of cocoa as a drink, but this is where it comes into play.
cocoa nibs, which go well with a variety of flavors and lead to culinary masterpieces. Whether sweet, sour or salty, this accent can help express the subtleties of taste. We really like to combine cocoa nibs with fruit, especially baked apricots. The crunchy texture of the cocoa beans gives these fruits a playfulness, and the rich flavor complements the gently sour sweetness of the apricots.

Cocoa beans contain valuable nutrients such as healthy fats, protein, small amounts of natural sugar, antioxidants, trace elements, and vitamins, giving this product a special place in the superfood category.

Despite the fact that this food product is valuable, long-term industrial activities lead to degraded cocoa, in which fewer nutrients remain during the production processes. Therefore, we strongly believe in the importance of choosing a quality cocoa product that retains its value and is processed as little as possible. Natural cocoa is a good example of its high nutritional value. Therefore, our cocoa beans are organic, RAW (unprocessed at high temperatures), without added sugar.

Production process:

● Preheat the oven to 200 degrees
● Cut the apricots in half, remove the seeds
● Place apricots in a tin, peel half of the orange and place in the tin
● drizzle apricots with the juice of 1/2 an orange and sprinkle with powdered sugar or other sweetener
● While the apricots are baking, toast the bread
● Spread ricotta on the bread, arrange the baked apricots, sprinkle with cocoa beans and garnish with mint

We recommend using cocoa nibs as a bright flavor accent,
in a gentle taste palette. The natural taste of cocoa is rich and pleasantly bitter, so it fits perfectly into the gentle background. This is not only a gourmet combination, but also a simple, easy way to enrich your diet, especially with valuable nutrients.

Enjoy and stay healthy!
