Ceremonial Matcha Tea Recipe
- 1 teaspoon (1-2 g) of high-quality ceremonial Matcha
- 70-80 ml hot water (about 80°C, not boiling)
- Bamboo whisk(you can also use an electric whisk)
- Sieve
- Bowl
- Plant-based milk and various sweeteners to taste.
How to prepare ceremonial Matcha at home?
Prepare the Matcha powder
- To avoid lumps, sift the Matcha through a fine sieve directly into the bowl.
Whisk until smooth.
- Add 20 ml of hot water and mix with a whisk (chasen) until a smooth paste forms.
Create a soft foam
- Pour in the remaining 50-60 ml of hot water and whisk in a W shape with a bamboo whisk until a light, fine foam forms.
