What is good about home made ice cream? Everything! No matter what combination you throw together, the result will be AMAZING! Basic formula for home made ice cream : frozen fruit (banana, mango , strawberries and etc.) almond milk (or any other dairy-free milk) and cocoa nibs.
For this recipe I used frozen mangos. Combination of mango and cocoa nibs is just perfect. Cacao nibs add more crunch and a slight bitterness to offset the sweet fruit.
Ingredients:
200 g frozen mango chunks
50 ml almond milk
3 tablespoons cocoa nibs
Topping:
1 teaspoon cocoa nibs
Instructions:
- Add mango chunks and almond milk into high-speed blender.
- Blend on high until smooth.
- Add 3 tablespoons cocoa nibs and blend for one minute.
- Top with more cocoa nibs.
