This cocoa is mild, light, and characterized by a natural sweet-and-sour freshness. The primary flavor profile consists of sweet cherry and wild honey notes, complemented by a subtle aroma of sandalwood. The tasting experience is rounded off by a rich walnut aftertaste.

Where It’s Grown

This cocoa is grown in the Jembrana region of West Bali. Here, ancient cacao varieties are cultivated, with genetic roots tracing back to Mexico.
The growing process relies on the unique, UNESCO-protected "Subak" irrigation system and the local Tri Hita Karana philosophy, which emphasizes the harmony between humanity and nature.

Cacao Variety
Trinitario – Trinitario varieties are cultivated by hybridizing Criollo and Forastero cacao types, combining the quality of Criollo with the resilience of Forastero.


Bali Cacao Characteristics:

- This cacao is grown in the Jembrana region of West Bali.
- 100% cacao, with no added sugar, vegan-friendly.
- Cacao comes in irregular 10 - 20 g pieces, slightly firm, may require more effort to cut.

How much cocoa should I consume?
10 - 15 g. - light cocoa drink, suitable for daily use
25 - 35 g. - medium-strength cocoa drink
35 - 40 g. - strong cocoa drink, suitable for cocoa ceremonies

1 tsp. ground cocoa = 5 g.

How to make cocoa (for one cup):
- Cocoa 10 - 30 g / 2 - 5 teaspoons of ground cocoa

- 3/4 cup hot water
- A splash of plant-based milk
- Your favorite sweetener (optional)


Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for 1 minute.
